Data Scientist

You will be the primary link between the engineering and biology team in the analysis of data and will ensure the information extracted from our data is robust, insightful, relevant and accessible to our end-users. You will also work closely with the hardware engineering team in the testing and validation of new hardware through data analysis.

Education • BSc in Maths, Physics, Informatics, or equivalent subject is essential. MSc in data science, signal processing, machine learning or similar is desirable. Skills • Proficient in Python • MATLAB skills are desirable • Strong mathematical background, Statistics, Signal Processing • Experience in multivariate statistics • Handling and interrogating high-dimensional data • Skills and experience of machine learning algorithm development using tools such as PyTorch and Tensorflow • Data visualisation techniques and tools • Machine learning and AI tools • Good verbal and written communication skills
